Ramsports Signs Emerging Pro Sandeep Kanchiraju
Ramsports is proud to add Sandeep Kanchiraju to its growing roster of emerging professional pickleball athletes.
A left-handed player based in Ohio, Sandeep grew up competing in tennis and badminton before discovering pickleball in 2024. What began as something new quickly became a serious pursuit. In a short period, he progressed from newcomer to competing at the pro level, qualifying for Brickwall Nationals and earning his first pro main draw win.
What makes Sandeep’s journey even more distinctive is everything happening beyond the court. Alongside his pursuit of professional pickleball, he works full-time as a founding engineer while completing his master’s degree part-time—balancing competition, training, work, and education as he continues building toward his goals.
Finding a Team in Ramsports
For Sandeep, joining Ramsports was about more than signing with a paddle brand. It felt like joining a team.
Already familiar with and connected to the Ramsports community, he was drawn to a brand that believes in where an athlete is headed—not simply where they stand today. That shared focus on growth made Ramsports a natural fit for a player whose story is still being written.
Sandeep now joins a roster of Ramsports athletes united by a drive to compete, improve, and push their games forward.
Still in the Middle of the Journey
There is plenty more Sandeep wants to accomplish. His next goals include making deeper runs in professional events, continuing to raise his DUPR, and ultimately establishing himself as a signed touring pro.
His ambitions also extend beyond his own results. As a coach, Sandeep wants to help more players discover pickleball, improve their games, and contribute to the community surrounding the sport.
Above all, Sandeep wants his journey to show what can happen when someone commits fully to something new. He doesn’t see himself as a finished product, but as an athlete still learning, competing, and building.
By going all in, competing hard, and remaining kind and coachable along the way, Sandeep is finding out just how far that journey can go.
